Robert had a field trip to Nice, France, and Lucas & I decided to join him at the end of the field trip. We visit many places but our favorites were Saint Paul & Eze.
Saint Paul is a medieval village. It is located in the top of a small mountain with views over the Mediterranean Sea and The Alps. One of the most beautiful little towns I have seen. Several famous artists live in there and it's full of art galleries.
Robert tuvo una salida de campo a Niza, Francia y Lucas y yo decidimos unirnos al final de su salida. Visitamos muchos lugares pero nuestros favoritos fueron Saint Paul and Eze.
Saint Paul es una villa medieval, uno de los pueblitos mas lindos que he visitado. Esta ubicado en la cima de una montana y tiene vista hacia el Mediterrano y los Alpes. Varios artistas famosos viven alli y la villa esta llena de galerias de arte.
Eze is another Medieval village, but in the Mediterranean Coast between Nice and Monte Carlo, in top of a cliff. It was once surrounded a 12th century fortified castle. The castle was torn down in 1706, but the village remains. At the top of the village there is a 400 years old Chateau. The Chateau was the residence of Prince William of Sweden from 1923-1953. Not long time ago it was converted to a exclusive hotel, only 10 rooms.
Eze es otro pueblito medieval, pero en la Costa Mediterranea, entre Monte Carlo y Niza, y esta ubicado en el tope de un acantilado. Se pueden ver ruinas de un castillo del siglo XXII. El castillo fue demolido en 1706, pero la villa fue preservada. En la villa hay un Castillo construido hace 400 anos, que en algun momento fue residencia del principe de Suecia. Ahora el castillo es un exclusivo hotel con solo 10 habitaciones.
