Field trip to Monaco

I had a recent geology field trip to Monaco. The objective was to look at ancient turbidites in the South of France. Turbidites are rocks deposited in underwater "avalanches" in the deep oceans. 


The first night I had time to do some tourism around Montecarlo:

The following days we just did geology, hike and we saw many rocks including some famous ones where a Geo-celebrity named Bouma came up with his "sequence".
